There are many challenges grandparents or other kin face when they are responsible for raising either their grandchildren or someone else’s children. There is help and support for you.
If you are in this situation, you are invited to attend an organizational meeting on October 18, 2019, at 9 a.m. at the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Henderson County Center. A light brunch will be served so if you plan to attend please contact Ivy Olson, Emily Capps or Renay Knapp at 828-697-4891 to let them know you will be there. If you are unable to attend, let them know that you would like additional information.
