Join us for Farm City Day 2023 on Saturday, October 7th. Fun activities for the whole family will be held in Jackson Park from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Farm City Day, Henderson County’s premier agricultural fair, started in 1955, is scheduled annually for the first Saturday in October. Located in Jackson Park, the event begins at 10 a.m. and continues until 4 p.m.

Farm City Day

Approximately fifty acres of Jackson Park are used for agricultural educational displays including a farm animal petting zoo, antique and modern farm equipment and crafters from many generations. There are food trucks and live music all day!

Admission is free! Some activities, food and vendors will cost money so bring some cash with you.

Farm city day is hosted by N.C. Cooperative Extension, Henderson County Center and Kiwanis. Sponsors include Henderson County Farm Bureau, The Community Foundation, Animals R Us Veterinary Clinic, FFA, NC Department of Agriculture, Pepsi and many others.
