Provide educational opportunities and technical support to the trout aquaculture industry in 11 counties and the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians (EBCI) in western North Carolina. Fish health, production management, and waste management educational programs will assist trout farmers, fee-fishing pond managers, and trout fingerling producers with the management and sustainability of their facilities.

Also provide fish health and water quality management support to the carp fishing ponds in 24 counties.
