Collapse ▲We are planning to meet at Dr. Lowry’s office, 905 Oakland St. This is on the corner of 9th Ave. and Oakland St. Cars will not be allowed on Oakland St. Drive to Oakland St. via Fleming St., then 9th Ave. You will be heading downhill on 9th Ave., from the hospital heading toward Hendersonville High School. This is where we met for the Apple Festival parade, and it worked well. We will walk from this location to our spot, #5, which will be on 9th Avenue, between Hendersonville High School and the old Boyd Pontiac dealership. The parade will end at Badcock Furniture, 417 S Main St, Hendersonville. Bikes, wagons, roller skates, and scooters are encouraged, but if participants bring them, they will be responsible for these items the entire parade route.
Parents/ guardians, check in with an adult when you drop off your kids, and when you pick them up. Parents/ guardians are welcome to walk with us. The Dana 4-H club will wear their 4-H t-shirts over their warm clothes. This is a great idea! Festive hats, socks, and scarves would be fun!
