Being elected a 4-H Club officer is an honor that includes several responsibilities and duties. 4-H Clubs will depend on their officers to conduct the business meetings, help the Club leaders, and help the members execute Club activities. Officers should always be striving “To make the best better,” as the 4-H motto suggests, working together as a team and helping carry out the goals of their club!

4-H Officers Training is an event run by the 4-H County Council (4-H electives representing Henderson County 4-H) to train incoming officers in their roles, meet other 4-H’ers from other 4-H Clubs, and participate in the 4-H induction ceremony.

Henderson County is excited to also have TWO 4-H District Officers, Ellie Askin and Maggie McCall. In their roles they will be serving the entire 4-H West District and help plan, coordinate, and run 4-H Teen Retreat in 2024.

Congratulations to our 2023-2024 slate of officers!
