Collapse ▲2023 is off to a great start with some EFNEP (Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program) classes at schools and the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Henderson County Center – lots of fun learning and delicious recipes!
In March, a brand new community class will be hosted by the staff and clientele of the Sammy Williams Center. Participants of all ages, from kindergarten to senior citizens, are encouraged to join these completely FREE classes! Each session will include a healthy recipe, creative activities, and low-impact physical activity.
Classes will be held at the Sammy Williams Center: 301 N Justice St. Hendersonville 28739 and will meet on Fridays, from 10-11 a.m., on the following dates: March 10, 17, and 24. Please note that the facility may require the use of masks.
Please try to attend all classes, as free goodies will be given away each week!
