Farm City Day Emergency Services Fair
As a part of Farm City Day 2022, ten local emergency services organizations including nine fire stations, the Henderson County Rescue Squad and EMS will participate in the 2022 Emergency Services Fair. The firefighters, rescuers and EMS will be hosting a SAFETY CHALLENGE. The challenge is for kids to visit all ten emergency services stations. If they get all ten stamps in their SAFETY CHALLENGE PASSPORT then they will receive a FARM CITY DAY SAETY CHALLENGE MEDAL. The challenge is limited to the first 500 kids to take the challenge.
Also participating in Farm City Day this year will be the WNC Safekids Coalition giving BICYCLE HELMETS away for free while supplies last. Kids are encouraged to bring their bicycles to Farm City Day.
Finally, the Henderson County Sherriff’s Office will have educational displays.

International Harvester Tractor Club Hay Rides
The IHTC will give hayrides to kids.
Kiwanis Apple Sling
Kids get to launch apples out of the park using the apple slings.
Kid’s Zone
Kids get to ride bouncy animals in the kid zone rodeo! The Kid’s Zone is brought to you by B2 Realty.
Bountiful Harvest Community Garden Garden Tour
Live Music
FFA Sponsored Fish Pond
FFA clubs from across the county stock the pond with fish from their aquaculture program and host kids fishing.
Farm Bureau Farm Simulator
Henderson County Farm Bureau hosts the tractor simulator, a digital experience.
NC Department of AG Booth
NCDACS will host a booth promoting agricultural products produced in Henderson County.
HC Soil and Water Conservation Learning Center
HC soil and Water will teach kids about soil conservation and water quality in a fun and interactive environment.
Extension Master Gardener℠ Volunteers ‘Plant Doctor Booth’
Henderson county Master Gardeners will answer gardening questions from the public.
Other attractions are crafters, chainsaw artist, Bee City/Bee Club, Bullington Gardens and more!!!
