Woman and girl smiling at cameraDo you want to learn how to sew? Would you like to sharpen your sewing skills? Join Henderson County 4-H for their September Sewing Classes! Sewing classes are a popular special interest program for youth ages 8-18 to learn sewing skills through collaborating with skilled 4-H adult volunteers. During the four-week session, participants will complete a sewing project while gaining confidence and having fun!

Girl in dressThe November session’s sewing classes will be held Thursday afternoons from 3–5 p.m. at the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Henderson County Center on November 4, November 18, December 2, and December 9, 2021. You do not need any previous sewing experience to participate. Sewing machines, patterns, and basic sewing kits will be provided.

Clover logoRegistration is open now and will close Friday, October 29. There is a $25 registration fee – this will cover patterns and sewing supplies. Please stop by the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Henderson County Center to pay (cash or check only) on or before November 4.
