4-H Sewing classes are a popular special interest program in Henderson County. Youth participants partner with adult volunteers to select and complete a pattern during each 4-week session. Through these classes, youth learn valuable sewing skills and develop important life skills such as confidence and cooperation. Our classes would not be successful without our amazing volunteers! Their passion for positive youth development directly helps develop our next generation of leaders.
This month, participants chose a wide variety of projects to complete – including stuffed animals, pillows, handbags, and clothing. We’re so proud of our 4-H’ers, and we love having the opportunity to work with them!
