Please join Henderson County Soil and Water and NC State Cooperative Extension at the Rugby Middle stream restoration site to learn about invasive plants and how to properly remove those plants.
Volunteers will have the opportunity to learn to identify and remove invasive plants within the riparian buffer of the stream.
Experts will be on-site to provide assistance with identification and removal. What to bring: Gloves, hand tools (pruners, loppers, mattock); wear boots, long pants and long sleeves.
