Collapse ▲Blue Ridge Farm Direct Market Association will hold an agritourism conference along with the association’s annual meeting on February 1, 2022. The meeting will occur from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Blue Ridge Community College Technology Education Development Center.
The meeting is sponsored by Henderson County Farm Bureau and North Carolina Cooperative Extension – Henderson County Center. The meeting is free to BRFDMA members and others can attend for $25.00.
The program will feature Ms. Annie Baggett, Agritourism Marketing Specialist with the North Carolina Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services. Also on the program will be Mr. Bob Hall, owner of Bush & Vine Farm in York, S.C. Mr. Hall runs a very successful local market there.
Other speakers will include Ellerslie McCue from NCDA&CS and a representative from the Henderson County Tourism Development Authority. For program details, see the link below. After the conference, the organization will hold a brief annual meeting to elect officers and conduct other relevant business.
