Collapse ▲Farmers in general practice sustainable agriculture to preserve their land for future generations of farmers. However, there are more intentional methods to enhance sustainability. Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education (SARE) has focused on this for many years. They have recently produced an animated series to teach about farm sustainability. These short videos are good tools to use in the classroom and in other educational settings to teach about sustainable practices.
Introduction
How do you make a farm or ranch more sustainable? There is no single answer, but SARE’s 8 episode “What is Sustainable Agriculture” animation series highlights some common practices farmers and ranchers across the country use to improve profitability, quality of life and environmental stewardship.
