Embed Labeled for Pome and Stone Fruits

— Written By

Embed is a formulation of 2,4-D choline, which is the new salt of 2,4-D that is the same active ingredient registered for use on 2,4-D tolerant crops. This new formulation is very unlikely to “move”. It is very stable and not susceptible to volatilization. Researchers at NC State applied it on several occasions in peach orchards in June and July in Edgefield SC and upstate SC under some very hot and humid conditions and saw NO damage to peach trees. They are currently evaluating it further in other fruit crops. This will be a nice new tool for tree fruit growers.
