Collapse ▲Join us at our office for our hands-on food preservation classes throughout the year as we preserve the bounty of the season’s harvest.These classes involve a presentation with information on the science and safety behind home food preservation followed by a hands-on activity with time for discussion and questions along the way. The cost of each class is listed below and all supplies will be provided. Registration is required and seats are limited.
All classes will be held at the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Henderson County Center, 100 Jackson Park Rd., Hendersonville, NC 28792.

Looking to learn more information about canning without the hands-on element? There will be three different opportunities to attend an Introduction to Canning class at one of the library branches. These classes are free and will cover the basics of canning from supplies to techniques and recipes.
