Eating the Mediterranean Way - Summer Library Classes

We are partnering with the Henderson County Libraries to offer free nutrition classes. Eating the Mediterranean Way (or Med instead of Meds) is a research-based program focused on the Mediterranean pattern of eating, which has been shown to reduce the risk of chronic diseases and support overall health.

These hour long classes involve an educational powerpoint presentation followed by a cooking demonstration and taste test. You will receive recipes and handouts you can take home as well as the knowledge of how to incorporate these foods into your every day life.

These classes are free, but registration is required. We are excited to be continuing these classes through the summer at the Etowah and Green River Libraries.

Register for these free classes on the library's website.
