Looking for Hands-On Classes?

Join us at our office for our hands-on food preservation classes throughout the year as we preserve the bounty of the season's harvest. These classes involve an informational presentation on the science and safety behind home food preservation followed by a hands-on activity with time for discussion and questions along the way. The cost of each class is listed below and all supplies will be provided. Registration is required and seats are limited. 

All classes will be held at the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Henderson County Center, 100 Jackson Park Rd., Hendersonville, NC 28792.

Interested in learning more about canning but not sure where to start? Join us for these introductory classes at the local libraries. These classes are free and will cover the basics of canning from supplies to techniques and recipes.
