Introducing a New 4-H Cooking Program!

Start the New Year off with a new 4-H cooking program! Starting in February, Henderson County 4-H will be launching 4-H Fun with Foods, a program designed to build cooking skills and teach participants about food science through hands-on activities! The program will meet once a week for four weeks in February. Join us to explore topics including microbiology, healthy cooking, nutrition, chemistry, and food science careers!

The program will meet at the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Henderson County Center (100 Jackson Park Road). Youth ages 11-14 can participate! 

The dates and times for 4-H Fun with Foods are: 

February 7, 2022, from 4–5 p.m.

February 14, 2022, from 4–5 p.m.

February 21, 2022, from 4–5 p.m.

February 28, 2022 from 4-5 p.m.

Pre-registration and a $25 registration fee are required. The registration fee can be paid by cash or check at the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Henderson County Center. Please click here to register!
