Lawn care does not have to be difficult! You can follow this simple calendar to a beautiful lawn. Early spring lawn care takes place in February-March.
Pre-emergent herbicides to prevent summer weeds such as crabgrass should ideally be applied in mid-February before March 1 although you can apply them through March. Also, you can mow winter weeds to prevent them from going to seed.
