Henderson County Extension
The Henderson County Extension Master Gardener program is a volunteer program open to all Henderson County residents interested in gaining gardening knowledge to in turn volunteer within the community. Trainings are held on Wednesday mornings, January through April at 9:00 a.m. at the Extension office in Jackson Park. After completion of all trainings, volunteers donate a minimum of 40 hours of volunteer time through the master gardener info line, educational displays, teaching gardening classes, or completing hands-on projects at the Bullington Gardens, Community Garden, Flat Rock Playhouse, etc.
