The Youth Market Turkey Show is an opportunity for youth to raise and show a market turkey at the N.C. State Fair!

Registration is now open to any NC youth between the ages of 5-18 who will be in grades K-12 on the day of the show!

Youth MUST register by March 31 and pay a $20 registration fee. Pick up of three poults will be at NC State university in June. Youth will take their birds to rear at home and bring back their best market turkey to the N.C. State Fair show in October.

This is a popular event, there is a limited number of birds and spots fill up quickly! Registration Fee of $20 Includes T-Shirt!

Registration will be Mandatory Age Divisions for the State Turkey Show Friday October 6th at 9:00 a.m. The age divisions below are based on age as of June 1, 2022:
Gobbler – 5 to 8 years
Junior – 9 to 13 years
Senior – 14 to 18 years
