Announcing a NEW 4-H CLUB! The 4-H Media-mestiers 4-H Club is the place to bring your creativity to life!
This hands-on club is designed for late elementary to highschool youth who are interested in videography, acting, public speaking, scriptwriting, and video editing. Whether you dream of creating documentaries, producing short films, making social media content, or simply becoming a more confident communicator, you'll gain valuable skills while working on fun, real-world projects.
Throughout the year, members will learn how to:
- Write creative and engaging scripts.
- Plan and storyboard video projects.
- Film with cameras and mobile devices using professional techniques.
- Act on camera and develop confidence in front of an audience.
- Conduct interviews and create compelling stories.
- Strengthen public speaking and presentation skills.
- Record voice-overs and commercials.
- Edit videos using modern editing software.
- Work as a production team while developing leadership and communication skills.
No previous experience is necessary! Just bring your imagination, willingness to learn, and enthusiasm for creating!
The club will meet twice each month for 90-minute sessions throughout the school year, beginning September 16, at 3:30 p.m. at the Henderson County Cooperative Extension Center on Jackson Park Road.
