The NC Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services’ (NCDA&CS) Pesticide Disposal Assistance Program, a non-regulatory and cost-free program, in cooperation with the Henderson County Cooperative Extension Service, will be sponsoring a Pesticide Collection Day on

November 6th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at

N.C. Cooperative Extension, Henderson County Center

Nearly all pesticide products will be accepted, including banned and out-dated pesticides. For pesticides with unreadable or missing labels, contact the Cooperative Extension office at (828) 697-4891 and ask to speak with Agent Karen Blaedow for instructions.

Participants are asked to save any portion of the label to help identify the material to be disposed of.

Unknown materials cannot be accepted.
