Explore Henderson County with the New Farmers Markets Passport

There is no better way to experience local flavor than through a trip to a seasonal farmers market where you will find fresh, food that you can purchase directly from a producer. The Henderson County Farmers Market Coalition has created a passport to help highlight these local market experiences. Community members interested in participating in the Farmers Market Passport Program can pick-up a passport at any of the five participating markets information booths.

Participating markets include Hendersonville Farmers Market, Mills River Farm Market, Henderson County Tailgate Market, Flat Rock Farmers Market, and the Etowah Lions Club Farmers Market.

Henderson County Farmer's Markets Passport

The program is straightforward simply get your market passport stamped at all five participating market locations information booths. Once the passport is completed bring it to the Henderson County Extension Office at 100 Jackson Park Road (Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.) where you will receive a Farmers Market Cookbook and a seed starting kit.

Participating markets feature, the freshest in-season fruits, vegetables, eggs, meat and artisan products grown and created by neighboring farms and businesses. Grab a Henderson County Farmers Market Passport today and start experiencing the local food scene.

  1. Pickup a passport from the information booth at one of the five Henderson County farmers markets.
  2. When you visit a farmers market, get your passport stamped at the information booth look for the passport logo sign.
  3. Once you've gotten a stamp at every market, bring your completed passport to the Henderson County extension office where you will receive a farmers market cookbook and a seed starting kit.
