Eating the Mediterranean Way in 2024 - Winter - Spring Library Classes

(Updated: May 14, 2024, 7:38 a.m.)

We are partnering with the Henderson County Libraries to offer free nutrition classes. Eating the Mediterranean Way (or Med instead of Meds) is a research-based program focused on the Mediterranean pattern of eating, which has been shown to reduce the risk of chronic diseases and support overall health.

These hour long classes involve an educational powerpoint presentation followed by a cooking demonstration and taste test. You will receive recipes and handouts you can take home as well as the knowledge of how to incorporate these foods into your every day life.

These classes are free, but registration is required. We are excited to be offering these classes at the Etowah, Ednevyville, Fletcher and Green River Libraries.

Register on the library's website here.
