Bullington Gardens will hold its annual spring plant sale from April 28 through April 30, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friends of Bullington will receive a 10% discount and an exclusive early-bird shopping day.

The 2022 spring sale features a wide variety of annuals, vegetables, herbs, perennials, shrubs, and trees.

Bullington Gardens is honored to partner with the Henderson County Tree Board as the Bee City USA-Hendersonville affiliate. Many of the perennials available are pollinator-friendly plants that support a wide variety of bees, butterflies, beetles, or wasps. Included are Echinacea (coneflower) ‘Sombrero Adobe Orange' and 'Pica Bella,' the Ansonia ‘Storm Cloud,’ and the Lupine 'Mini Gallery Series' which is also useful for enriching the nitrogen in your garden’s soil.

Bullington Gardens’ Fairy Trail is a big highlight for visitors during the summer season. Many of the plants featured on the Trail are offered as “fairy plants” for those who want to create their own fairy garden. The Begonia ‘Escargot,’ the Aruncus ‘Fairy Hair,’ and Heucherella 'Catching Fire' are three that will add a magical touch to your garden. For dry, shady fairy gardens, Epimedium ‘Sandy Claws’ and ‘Spine Tingler’ are also great additions.

All proceeds benefit Bullington's mission to educate and inspire children and adults in horticulture, the natural sciences and integrated disciplines.
