4-H Sewing Classes Spring 2026

Our 4-H sewing sessions provide youth ages 8-18 the opportunity to delve into the world of sewing! No prior sewing experience is necessary to join. Participants are paired with an experienced volunteer to teach sewing basics and help guide them through projects. 4-H provides sewing machines, materials, and fabric—all you need to bring is your enthusiasm!
Spring 2026 Session Details:March 4-H sewing class
Students will work with the sewing volunteers to learn the basics of sewing and have an intro into quilting through a beginner pajama pants! Classes are limited to the first 8 students.- Class time(s): Weekly on Thursdays for the month
- Time: 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
- Location: N.C. Cooperative Extension – Henderson County Center
- Cost: $20

May 4-H Sewing Class
Students will work with the sewing volunteers to learn the basic of sewing and seamstress skills by creating a project using sewing patterns! Classes are limited to the first 8 students.- Class time(s): Weekly on Thursdays for the month
- Time: 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
