4-H AIRE (Application, Interview, Resume, Electric Video)

Have you ever wondered what a National 4-H event, such as National Congress, was like? Maybe you are looking to join the workforce soon or go to college and need solid experience at resumes, interviews, and how to create applications? You can do all of that by participating in 4-H AIRE!

WHAT IS AIRE?

AIRE (Application, Resume, Interview, and Electronic – Video) is a workforce development and college prep program for youth, ages 11 – 18. Youth can chose to be competitive in this program or simply gain experiences by polishing their writing and interview skills. Broken down below are the two options.

Option 1 - Competitive: Youth participate in this program by completing the four (4) AIRE candidate packet components. All candidates who submitted a complete packet will be invited to participate in either the State-Level competitive program (open to youth ages 14-18) or in the non-competitive program (open to youth ages 11-13).

Youth participating in the competitive AIRE program (14-18) are eligible to be selected to attend national events such as National Congress, National Conference, and International Leadership Conference!

Option 2 - Non Competitive: Youth participate in this program by completing the AIRE program components as self-study and/or as part of their local 4-H program. This means there would not be a requirement for the participant to submit their AIRE packet for State-level review.

*Youth participants are required to register in 4-HOnline. The 4-HOnline registration questions will be the same as those in the AIRE Application Prep packet. AIRE participants would be required to complete and submit the Application Prep Packet to 4-H agent, Hannah Worrell by submission deadline of June 8, 2022.
