Join us for our hands-on canning classes this spring as we celebrate berry season here in Henderson County with jam making! These classes involve a powerpoint presentation with information on the science and safety behind home canning methods followed by a hands-on canning activity in the kitchen with time for discussion and questions along the way. The cost of each class is $5 and all supplies will be provided. Registration is required and seats are limited.

All classes will be held from 5:30-7:30pm at the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Henderson County Center.

Payment is required 5 days prior to the class date. We accept payment by cash or check with checks payable to NCCE. Payment can be mailed or dropped off at our office, 100 Jackson Park Rd., Hendersonville, NC 28792. Our office is open Monday-Friday from 8:30am-5pm.
