Competition Levels
County Activity Day:
Participants ages 8-18 give presentations and judges award blue or red ribbons. Each participant will receive feedback from judges to prepare for District Activity Day, which every participant will have the option to pursue. Blue ribbon recipients earn a $20 dollar check and means they are ready for District, just keep practicing! Red ribbon recipients have put in good work, but something has been encouraged to change on the presentation before going to District, and of course, keep practicing!
District Activity Day:
West District presentations, 2021, will be held in Mitchell County (if in-person). Participants 8-18 will have the opportunity to continue on to the State 4-H presentation competition in Raleigh if they win in their category at District level.
Congress:
4-H Presentations on the State level take place on NC State University Campus (if in-person) on July 17. Presentation day is the first day of NC 4-H Congress! Click here if your teen is interested in 4-H Congress!
