According to local weather person Paul Speranza, “We can expect a warm winter with possible snow the first of December and in March.” In a discussion with Paul at the local N.C. Cooperative Extension office, Paul predicted discomfort for local farmers next Spring. “Warm winters cause fruit trees to bloom early then we get late frosts that damage the plants.”
