Making Apple Cider

— Written By

Have you ever wondered how apple cider is made? First, you get boxes and boxes of apples. A mix of apple varieties is preferred. Next, you mash or shred the apples. A mechanical shredder makes pulping easier. Then you squeeze the apple pulp to extract the juice. Mechanical apple presses are used to squeeze the pulp. Finally, you bottle it up! Make sure your jugs are clean. Do not add any sugar but some people do like to add spices. Right now apple squeezing is going on all over Henderson County in both small and large quantities!making apple cider Apples Making apple cider Making apple cider Making apple cider Making apple cider Jugs of apple cider
