Serving Our Community in August

Hendersonville Rescue Misson logoEach month, Henderson County 4-H Council will choose a different nonprofit organization to receive donations or other help from 4-H families. For the month of August, the 4-H County Council chose the Hendersonville Rescue Mission. In addition to financial donations, they can always use donations of food, seasonal clothing, toiletries, and supplies. Note:  they prefer restaurant size cans of food. More information on Tax-Deductible Donations.

You may bring donations during business hours on weekdays (8:30 a.m.–5 p.m.) to the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Henderson County Center, 100 Jackson Park Rd., Hendersonville, NC (across from the ball fields in Jackson Park). These supplies will be taken to the Rescue Mission. If you have large donations, please take them directly to the Rescue Mission, 639 Maple St., Hendersonville, NC. Thank you so much for helping our community!
