Now Is a Great Time to Sort Through Books, CDs, and DVDs!
“Books for Good” is a local non-profit that raises funds for charities by selling donated books, CDs, and DVDs. Bring used books, CDs, and DVDs to N.C. Cooperative Extension, Henderson County Center (across from the ball fields in Jackson Park), or to Books for Good. Be sure to label the box or bag: “To benefit Henderson County 4-H.” You may also specify that profits go to specific 4-H clubs.
At the Books for Good store, purchase items to benefit 4-H and other charities. The “Books for Good” building is a little hard to find. Their address is 50 Heritage Park Drive, Fletcher, NC. If you are going up 25N, after passing I-26, go past Subway, and take the next road to the left. It looks like a wide driveway. Go all the way to the back, and “Books for Good” will be on your left. They have a large selection of books at great prices! Check their website for hours and more information:

Books for Good has some rules about donations to their store: they must be in Ingles’ milk carton boxes or smaller. Please call (828-989-4655) before taking more than three boxes. Remember that they do not accept magazines, encyclopedias, tapes, or condensed books.
