How Will You Inspire the Next Generation?

4-H clubs are made of young people from many different backgrounds. They meet monthly for educational activities, and service and citizenship projects. 4-H clubs provide a variety of different experiences to help children and teens find their own passions and interests. Volunteering is an opportunity to share your personal interests with young people. Volunteer leaders oversee each 4-H club, either teaching themselves or recruiting teachers. Co-leaders help with club meetings. Project leaders supervise one specific project area. Learn more about 4-H volunteers.

Would you like to learn more about being a 4-H leader? New 4-H Leader Orientation will be Tuesday, October 15, 2019, at 7 p.m., at N.C. Cooperative Extension, Henderson County Center. RSVP to Emily_Capps@ncsu.edu if you plan to come to the meeting. Contact Denise_Sherrill@ncsu.edu for more information. Volunteers are always needed.
