Haley Hargus Represented Henderson County at the NC Association of County Commissioners’ Youth Voice
Each year the NC Association of County Commissioners provides “Youth Voice” for teens from 4-H and the Boys and Girls Clubs to learn about local government and the role of their county commissioners. Participants learn about different personality types in “True Colors.” They play a difficult game to help them understand the county budgeting process. They also listen to a speaker, along with county commissioners from across the state, and spend some time with their local county commissioners. Haley Hargus, Henderson County 4-H Council President, and West District 4-H Council President, represented Henderson County 4-H at the 2019 Youth Summit in August. Read more about the Youth Summit.
