Visit Furman University With Henderson County 4-H

Calling all high school students! Henderson County 4-H will be taking a college tour to Furman University for 4-H members on Friday, August 16, 2019. We will depart from the North Carolina Cooperative Extension, Henderson County Center at 9:30 a.m. At the university, 4-H’ers will take a walking tour of the campus led by a Furman student.

You will need:

  • comfortable shoes
  • weather appropriate clothing
  • $8 cash to purchase lunch in the dining hall
  • a notepad and pen if you wish to take notes
  • an updated enrollment in 4-H Online

Please RSVP to Emily (emily_capps@ncsu.edu) by Tuesday, Aug. 13 at noon! When you register, Emily will send you a link to also register with Furman. We have space for 10 teens/parents in the van. If we fill up the van, we will need parents to drive. We should be back to the office by 1:30 p.m.
