West District 4-H Horse Clinic

Image of Danielle and horseThe West District 4-H Horsemanship clinic will be held at the WNC Ag Center in Fletcher Mon.–Wed., June 24–26, 2019. The $80 fee covers professional instruction, many horseback activities, a picnic, and social time. The clinic is designed for young people to increase their horsemanship knowledge and riding skills. Each child brings his/ her horse. Participation priority will be given to current 4-H members, but all youth are welcome. Youth must be 8-18 years old as of January 1. Each participant must have an accompanying parent or adult volunteer with them throughout the clinic. Cloverbuds (young people ages 5-7 as of Jan. 1) must have a parent with them any time they are handling a horse. Registration will be first-come, first served. After June 15 a late fee will be charged.
