Congratulations 4-H Project Record and Portfolio Winners!

Haley Hargus won gold with her 4-H portfolio and project record for 2018. Other gold medalists in project records were: Hannah Queen, Gabbi Torres, and Agnes Willis. Elize Mohammed and Elizabeth Lyda earned silver medals. Tanner Queen earned bronze.

Project records, portfolios, ribbons, medals, and scoresheets will be returned to our county at West District 4-H Activity Day, June 15. Gold medal project records at the district level earn $50 from N.C. 4-H. Gold medal portfolios in the 13-15 age group earn $100. The money from the state probably won’t come until late 2019 or early 2020. Henderson County 4-H awarded all blue ribbon project records with $10, and portfolios with $25.

It’s time to start working on project records and portfolios for 2019! For forms, visit this website. Project records are due January 2, 2020, to the N.C. They will be due to N.C. Cooperative Extension, Henderson County Center, on Monday, Feb. 3, 2020. Here’s for the form for 4-H portfolios.
