Celebration of Life for Marjie Oetinger, 4-H Volunteer

Marjie Oetinger was a well-loved 4-H Sewing Teacher and Co-Leader of the Dana Wildcats 4-H Club who died of cancer in January. A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2019, at 5:30 p.m., at the Dana Community Center, 2879 Upward Rd., Flat Rock, NC. The Dana Community Center is the home of a Little Free Library, which was Marjie’s idea. Former students and fellow 4-H volunteers are invited to celebrate Marjie’s life. Donations in honor of Marjie will be used for scholarships for 4-H sewing classes. Donations may be mailed to Henderson County 4-H, 100 Jackson Park Rd., Hendersonville, NC  28791.
