4-H Project Record Winners

— Written By

Congratulations to Isaiac Swekosky (age 9-10, Environmental Science) and Emma Wilkie (13-15, Environmental Science) for earning gold medals at the district level with their 4-H Project records. The award will be $50, which may not come from the state until the winter of next year. I hope these kids, and more, will continue to work on 4-H project records. Thank you to Chip and Ranae Worrell for continuing to serve as outstanding leaders for the Young Naturalists 4-H club, and encouraging participation in 4-H project records and presentations.

It’s time to start working on a 4-H project record for 2018! For forms, visit the North Carolina 4-H website. Project records are due January 2, 2019, to the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Henderson County Center. Contact Denise_Sherrill@ncsu.edu if you have any questions. Here is the link for project record forms for Cloverbuds, ages 5–8 as of January 1.
