In  January the Young Naturalists 4-H Club sent 5 members to the first NC 4-H Hunting Skills Competition. The senior team earned second place (Ivey and Emma Wilkie, Dessie McCarson, Grace Batchelder). Caleb McCarson competed as an individual. Ivey Wilkie was the second place individual for the state. This qualifies him to go to the National Shooting sports competition in Nebraska in June.
