4-H Youth Development 4-H is the youth development program of Cooperative Extension. 4-H offers clubs, special interest programs, summer camps and school enrichment. Guided by staff and adult and teen volunteers, 4-H'ers gain knowledge, skills and experience that help them become responsible citizens and leaders. Join the Revolution of Responsibility! Henderson County Youth Council - Applications are now being accepted for the Youth Council for Henderson County, along with the Advisory Committee for the Youth Council and one leader. The purpose of the Youth Council is to represent the views and needs of Henderson County's youth to local decision makers, to provide teens in the community an opportunity to be active citizens, and to improve the knowledge of local government by Henderson County's youth. The Youth Council will meet monthly on Monday evenings from September through May. Click here for a letter explaining more about the Youth Council.
