Prices range from $395 - $420. Getting Your Point AcrossLearn more about public speaking in this fun, interactive workshop. Fur Fish 'n Game RendezvousJune 21 - 26 Millstone 4-H Center, Ellerbe, NC The Rendezvous is an opportunity for youth to earn their hunter safety certification, study natural resources, create an ourdoor ethic, and learn outdoor recreation skills. The week-long residential camp is for boys and girls ages 12-15, and held at Millstone 4-H Center, in the beautiful sandhills gamelands. Campers learn firearm safety and shooting skills from hunter education officers. Other activities include: falconry, bird dogs, trapping, wildlife identification, taxidermy, first aid, canoeing, fishing, a low-ropes course, swimming, and much more! Those that have already attended the beginning Rendezvous, or already have their hunter safety certification, can apply for the the Adavanced Rendezvous. During the Adavanced track, campers will learn more about being a wildlife and fisheries biologist. Advanced activites include trapping, wildlife surveys, wildgame cooking, and fish surveys. West District Activity DayTuesday, June 23 From I-40, take the Bat Cave Exit on to 74A East. Go under the Parkway. In about 3 miles you will see the Reynolds Fire Dept. on the right. At the next light take a right on Rocket Drive. (You can't miss it. Look for the big Rocket, but if you get to Ingles you passed it.) The middle school is on the right. The high school is on the left. Clothing Re-CreationsJoin us for a fun filled creative course as we guide you to redesign worn clothes into innovative new fashions. Basic sewing knowledge is required but more importantly bring your creative spirit, old clothes, knits and enthusiasm. We'll start with a bag of old clothes and end with a fashion show!
