Volunteer coaches work with Henderson County 4-H Poultry Judging
junior (age 9 - 13) and senior (age 14 - 18) teams to learn about
judging eggs, chicken meat and live birds. (4-H ages are
determined as of January 1 of each year.) Teams meet at least
once a week from May through July to practice. They travel to
state competition in Raleigh on the Monday of NC 4-H
Congress. Below are some photos of the award winning 2005
Henderson County 4-H Poultry Judging Teams.
